Melting
It's fucking hot. Two industrial fans are keeping up the airflow, but it's still hot. I'm drinking ice cold San Pelligrino Limonata with gin (Hendrick's, like you need to ask) but it's still hot. I cannot think. It's hot.

I'm glad I stocked up on gin because the only thing worse than the inside of the apartment is the outside. I did go to the store to get some ice, though -- at least you can carry bags of ice on your shoulders and neck and get some relief. I may buy some more ice tomorrow.

Three days of this heat can cost up to 5 bucks, I'm going through cream soda and Pepsi like there's no tomorrow. It's probably worse here a little more inland than in north/west/wherever part of Vancouver you are. Too bad there's no A/C at my place. Sometimes going to a mall or grocery store and just sitting there for an hour is really worth it :)

And to think, we're complaining and it's only going to get worse. *groan*

Trust me -- it's way more expensive to drink premium gin and lemon sodas. :D And power these fans, for that matter. As for the store, here's a hearty HELL YES for hanging out in the freezer section with my shirt open.

I need some online calculator to find out my energy consumption from four fans running for about 15 hours...
